From Mission President

For the month of March, as a result of your good work, efforts and faith, 48 people were baptized and became members of the Church. That is the highest monthly total since January of 2000. That is quite an accomplishment for the missionaries and the mission. As pleased as Sister Crawford and I are with that result, we are most pleased with what has enabled that result to be achieved. While we talk of numbers, those numbers represent individuals and families. One baptism in this life can bless countless thousands who have lived and are now gone from this life, individuals who never had the chance to hear the gospel in their life time. I do not believe we could have achieved this great result without the missionaries of this mission striving to become better more faithful servants of the Savior. I sense a real good-ness in our mission. I sense a greater humility as Elders and Sisters are striving to live more consecrated lives by thinking less about themselves and more about the Savior and the children of God. I sense that you are showing the love of the Savior and His gospel which is in your heart through your eyes and people are feeling that and the Spirit is working in them through your love of them. I am so thankful for the goodness I feel in this mission and am so humbled by your hard work, faith unto miracles and the results that you are producing to build up the kingdom in this part of the vineyard.

Sister Crawford and I are so thankful for each and every missionary in this mission. We could not be more thank-ful to serve where we do with the outstanding missionaries we have the privilege to call our own. We love you.
